Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Partner and Member Referral?
Partners earn 1-5% in actual cash rewards for every successful referral, which can be withdrawn to your bank. Members earn 50 icPoints per referral and 1-5% cashback in icPoints on their own projects to be used as discounts.
How do I withdraw Partner cash rewards?
Once a referred project is paid by the client, the cash reward will be deposited into your digital wallet. You can withdraw balances over $50 via Zelle (under $500) or check (over $500). Alternatively, you can convert your cash directly into icPoints for project discounts at any time ($1 = 1 icPoint).
How do I use my Member icPoints?
You can apply your icPoints during invoice payment to receive a discount. You can cover up to 20% of any single invoice total using icPoints.
Do I need a business to become a Partner?
No. Both individuals and businesses can become Partners. To prevent fraud, all Partners must upload a valid Government ID before receiving any payout. A W-9 tax form is only required if your total payouts for the year exceed $600.
Do icPoints or Tiers expire?
If your account is inactive (no completed projects or referrals) for 6 months, your tier will be downgraded. For Partners, a 12-month inactivity period will result in balance forfeiture.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. The referrer and referee must be different individuals or entities with unique contact details.
Program Anti-Fraud & Policy Terms
- Referral rewards (Cash or icPoints) are awarded ONLY when the referred customer's project is completed and their invoice is fully paid.
- icPoints can be stacked and applied to any future invoice. A maximum of 20% of any single invoice total can be paid using icPoints.
- Partners must complete our internal KYC verification (uploading a Government ID) before any cash withdrawal is approved. A W-9 form is required once total annual payouts exceed $600.
- Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. The referrer and referee must be different individuals or entities with unique contact details.
- Referral activity involving the same entity, company, or household is subject to review and may be disqualified.
- Partner withdrawals are processed via Check (for amounts >$500) or Zelle (for amounts <$500) on business days only.
- IC General Contractor reserves the right to modify or terminate this program at any time with reasonable notice. Fraudulent activity will result in immediate account termination.
